Vacant Space

9 King Street

Located on King Street in historic downtown Lunenburg, the main floor of 9 King Street is vacant and formally housed several restaurants throughout the years.

A bright and colorful historic building with an 80+ mixed seating three level restaurant space, with potential to convert to retail.

Antique brick stairs with wrought iron railings lead into the main level dining room with wood floors and large windows overlooking King Street and the old Bank of Montreal building.

Downstairs wine cave features terracotta tile flooring with a German-style wood “Kachelofen” fireplace, exposed rock foundation, a large storage room and male and female bathrooms.

The upper level has a bar with potential seating for 8, a wood-fired pizza oven and prep stations, a coffee prep bar, rear patio entrance and a wheelchair accessible unisex bathroom. Great visibility from the bar across the dining room.

Behind the building there’s a large storage shed that can double as a prep room and patio space for several additional tables.

Outdoor compost, garbage and recycling storage available underneath an exterior staircase in the alleyway. The alleyway has direct access to the kitchen for the easy unloading of your daily foodstuffs.

Previous users included a casual fine dining Italian restaurant and a casual contemporary Chef-inspired restaurant.
